The South Korean manufacturer has always attached great importance to the photographic solutions for their smartphones. Enough to mention here that the LG G3 is equipped with a 13-megapixel camera with optical image stabilization and a unique laser autofocus, which allows instant focus. What can we expect from the upcoming handsets?

Operating the projector is affordable thanks to the copyright system, Auto Vertical Keystone LG , which eliminates the need for self-adjusting lens. MiniBeam can connect to your smartphone , laptop, tablet or other devices using the USB input. All this makes the new LG projector can be used both for entertainment and for official business presentations.

LG G3 Android 5.0 Lollipop coming in the end of 2014,screenshots leaked

The LG G3 is another device in line for the Android 5.0 Lollipop update, but the question in everyone’s minds is when? An LG representative recently disclosed that the Lollipop update will be coming to LG’s flagship by the end of 2014. Update: We've now seen several screenshots of Android 5.0 running on the LG G3. See below for all the Optimus Lollipop goodness!

Before you start jumping for joy, it must be made clear that even though a manufacturer might release an update for a phone, it might not arrive right away to yours. Why? Because individual carriers, especially those in the USA, usually take longer to get them dispersed to their own phone models. Owners with international variants are more likely to get theirs right away at the end of 2014, while LG G3 owners with the likes of Verizon, T-Mobile, AT&T and Sprint might have to wait until the beginning of 2015. Regardless, this is still good news.

Previous changes brought by Android 4.4.2 KitKat

The Android 4.4.2 update for the European model LG G3 appeared a couple of months ago, with users reporting a number of interesting things in the patch. For starters, the update seems to correct a few of the lag issues that some users experienced on the firmware out of the box, but there's also some display property changes and battery optimizations to be found.
The update is currently only for the D855 variant and brings a change to the software version (which you can check in Settings > About Phone) to V10e (Italy is reporting an update to V10g). Strangely, depending on which region you are in, the update claims to be bringing different things. In the UK, the update notice says the update is for apps, but elsewhere in Europe the update notice states power optimizations only.

No update notices seem to mention changes to the display, but a color spectrum analysis done by Android Central shows that saturation has indeed been tweaked in the update. LG made a conscious effort to go with more realistic color reproduction in the G3's display, but it seems they are pushing the desaturation even further in the latest update. The new color balancing also removes some of the over-sharpening that was producing nasty artifacts.

As always, the OTA is on its way sooner or later depending on your region and the batching process, but you can check for the update manually by going to Settings > About Phone > Update Center. If you're not the waiting type, you can grab the KDZ file from XDA Developers and doing it yourself. Of course, we cannot confirm the integrity of the contents of any files downloaded from XDA Developers, so proceed with caution.

Motorola Moto Maxx release news, specs, features, dates etc [updated][Hot]

The Moto Maxx has just been officially revealed at an event we attended in Sao Paulo, Brazil. I'd been foaming at the mouth all year for the Nexus 6 and the Galaxy Note 4, but both of those phones are some seriously big Androids. Thankfully, the Moto Maxx is a smaller device, identical to the Motorola Droid Turbo which surfaced recently as a Verizon exclusive. We'll be updating this page as more information comes in, but for now check below for everything we have on the splendid-looking Moto Maxx. Update: Motorola France has confirmed that the Moto Maxx will not be available in France, or the rest of Europe for that matter. Read the full story at our updated Moto Maxx release date section.

Moto Maxx release date

The Moto Maxx will be available for purchase there on Motorola.com from today, and arriving in mid-November to Mexico. It will also be available in other parts of Latin America soon.
So far we don't have any details regarding other countries, but the Moto Maxx may come to the UK, mainland Europe and India, Southeast Asia and Australia in weeks to come, as with the global availability of the legendary Moto G. We reached out to Motorola for clarification on this, and its response was "we don't have anything to announce at this time".
Update: In response to a Twitter question fielded by androidpit.fr earlier today, Motorola France officially confirmed that the Moto Maxx will not be made available there. AndroidPIT France followed up with a question about the rest of Europe and Motorola's response was that the Moto Maxx will not be available within Europe either. This is extremely disappointing news for anybody who was hoping to get their hands on the the arguably better version of the Nexus 6.

Moto Maxx price

The Moto Maxx will cost around 699 Euros. The US price for the Droid Turbo rounds out to 599 USD for the 32 GB version, so this looks like a significant price increase, a rough conversion being at around 870 USD. This works out at around £550, but this is unlikely to be the final UK retail price.

Moto Maxx specs

The Moto Maxx specs are exactly the same as what we saw on the Droid Turbo, but the Droid Maxx will only be available with the Ballistic Nylon back plate. This means the Droid Maxx comes with a 21 MP rear camera, Snapdragon 805 processor (@2.7 GHz), 3 GB RAM and 3,900 mAh battery capacity.
Here's the Moto Maxx specs alongside those of the Nexus 6 for comparison's sake.

Moto Maxx features

Like the Droid Turbo, the Moto Maxx has pretty much the best specs sheet we've seen this year, running a near stock version of Android 4.4.4. The device won't come with out of the box Android 5.0 Lollipop, but you can bet it will be one of the very first devices to get the update.

That's all we have on Motorola's latest device so far. It's a Droid Turbo which isn't restricted to the Verizon network. We'll update you with the latest Moto Maxx price and availability details as and when we get them.
For now, what are your thoughts on the Moto Maxx? Would you prefer this to the Nexus 6?

Samsung Galaxy S6 release date,specs and etc[updated]

We know the Galaxy S6 is a long, long way off, but that hasn't stopped the rumor mongers from starting up all kinds of Galaxy S6 business. Some of it has credibility and some of it is pure speculation, so let's try to cut through the crap and stick with what actually seems likely. Update: After we heard about a 4K screen and Snapdragon 810 processor rumor, we've now caught wind that Samsung could be starting from scratch with the Galaxy S6 following the disappointing sales of the Galaxy S4 and the Galaxy S5. Think that’s a good idea? Read on for full details under the updated tech specs section below.

Samsung Galaxy S6 release date

This is the easiest one, with the last two Samsung Galaxy flagships being announced in either late February or March and being released to the market in April. The Galaxy S3 popped out a little later in May, but we tend to think that Samsung will try to dominate Mobile World Congress again next year just as it did this year with the S5, giving its 2015 flagship a likely April market start with a public unveiling in the first few days of March.
Considering the Galaxy S5 wasn't as well received as Samsung had hoped though, we might even see a super early appearance at CES in Las Vegas in January if the management floors at Samsung are freaking out at having to give back some of their bonuses due to the S5's reception. As you may recall, the S5 launch was initially supposed to be accelerated to make up for less than spectacular Galaxy S4 sales.

Samsung Galaxy S6 price

It's highly unlikely that Samsung will be making the Galaxy S6 any cheaper than the current Galaxy S5, despite what our readers would like to see. If the Galaxy S6 hits the register at the same price point as the S5, then you can expect an outright price tag of 599 USD, depending on the internal storage capacity. If the device gets a metal housing or 64-bit processor, however, you can expect that price to creep upwards to cover additional component and manufacturing costs.

Samsung Galaxy S6 news

Perhaps the biggest news in terms of what to expect from the Galaxy S6 is that Samsung is definitely feeling the pinch, not just financially but also in the popularity stakes. The S4 failed to impress the masses and the S5 performed much the same, even if we still think it's a solid offering.
The problem is that the general consensus is that Samsung is getting lazy, not innovating and pumping out the same micro-variations one after the other. Considering Samsung is set to post its biggest quarterly loss in two years, it seems very likely that Samsung is going to go all out on the Galaxy S6 to regain that market share, profit margin and reputation as a serious market leader. Some would argue it has already done this with the Galaxy Note 4 (I mean, we consider it the best Android phone of 2014), so hopefully Samsung is going to continue the good work it has started in Q4 2014 through into the new year.

Samsung Galaxy S6 specs

Without giving credibility to unfounded rumors we can do a bit of logical extrapolation on this front. A 64-bit processor is guaranteed and we will surely get two versions again, one Snapdragon powered and another with an octa-core Exynos chip to power what we hope with be Android 5.0 with a refined version of TouchWiz.
The Qualcomm processor will likely be the Snapdragon 808, depending on when it will be commercially available, and the Snapdragon 810 may still be a bit too far away for mass production volumes. 3 GB of RAM seems certain but you won't be able to keep the rumor hounds away from higher numbers, especially considering the next Android version will support up to 4 GB of RAM. Let's wait and see on that one.
qualcomm eye smartphone w
It's safe to say that both variants of the Galaxy S6 will sport 64-bit chips. © Qualcomm
The camera will likely get a bump in megapixels, perhaps to 20 MP, from the 16 MP camera we've seen in the Galaxy S5, and rumors about the Galaxy Note 4 point to a move to a Sony sensor from Samsung's ISOCELL. If this proves to be true the Galaxy S6 will likely follow suit. The Galaxy S6 will definitely get Optical Image Stabilization.
Battery performance will be outstanding if the Galaxy S5 is anything to go by. Even if Samsung bumped the capacity up to 3,000 mAh and stuck with their existing battery management tech we'd be very happy, so any additional improvements between now and then will be very eagerly awaited. We're interested to see just how committed Samsung are to the dedicated home button and finger scanner combo, but I'd say we'll see a repeat of both with the heart-rate monitor tacked on the back as well for even more wearable integration.

Smartphones have been continuing to grow in size in 2014, with the line between smartphone and tablet becoming even more blurry (thanks 6-inch Nexus 6). The latest gossip suggests the Galaxy S5 won't be stretching that high, staying at a wallet friendly 5.3-inches, but will include a (3840 x 2160) ultra-HD display. This news comes from a post on news.mydriver.com citing a South Korean media outlet as the source, and suggests that the S5 will retain Samsung's favored Super AMOLED screen tech, and also adds more weight to the Snapdragon 810 processor/ 4GM RAM claim. Given the 64-bit capabilities of Android 5.0 Lollipop, Samsung would be foolish not to include the latest Qualcomm has to offer on its new flagship, however, the 4K display is something we thought would probably be reserved for the larger, and probably more expensive, Galaxy Note 5. It's an exciting prospect nonetheless.
Another thing we are looking forward to from the Galaxy S6 display is smaller bezels, which we've already caught a glimpse of on the Galaxy S5 LTE-A.
Update: One credible rumor we have heard is that the Galaxy S6 will deviate dramatically from the past devices in the Galaxy series, and may be codenamed "Project Zero". After disappointing sales in 2014, and the poor reception of the Galaxy S5, it seems like Samsung is looking to reinvent its Galaxy S series in 2015, and take the Galaxy S6 in a completely new direction. We're excited. The source also suggested that the device would come with a QHD display, a 16 or 20 MP camera and a 64-bit Exynos 7420 SoC processor with four Cortex A57 cores and four Cortex A53 cores and Samsung’s own modem, an Exynos Modem 333 with LTE connectivity. It should also receive an increase in internal storage to include 32, 64 and 128 GB variants. A cool new feature would be to include a single chip that would integrate GPS, Bluetooth, and Wi-Fi, which would be a big battery saver.

Samsung Galaxy S6 rumors

This section could get very, very long so I'll keep it brief and migrate rumors that firm up as time goes by to the sections above. We've already seen a curved screen appear on the Galaxy Note Edge, so now there is a question on whether Samsung will bring curved or three-sided display tech to their flagship smartphone? I really can't say at this stage, and it may depend on the Note Edge's eventual success
samsung iris reader
We already know that Samsung is invested in iris scanning tech, but will it appear in the Galaxy S6? / © PatentBolt
The iris scanner rumors just won't die, and there's every possibility that the Note 4, the Galaxy S6 or even both will sport an iris scanner. Samsung has confirmed it was working on the tech, but costing, manufacturing and precision need to be just right to implement it. I suspect Samsung is still stinging from the public perception of the finger scanner on the S5.
Nevertheless, it seems unlikely that Samsung would abandon that tech after only one go around the market place. Other rumors about the Tizen platform, graphene and a metal body are nothing more than that right now.
What are your expectations for the Galaxy S6? What do you think Samsung needs to do to get back on top?

How to update Google Nexus 5 Kitkat to Lolipop???!!!!

That's right, Lollipop fans, there's already a way to get the Android 5.0 Lollipop update on your Nexus 5. As you may already know, the Lollipop source code was uploaded by Google to the Android Open Source Project (AOSP) a few days back. While we're still waiting for Google to push the Android 5.0 update over the air or to release the factory images, a slightly more motivated individual by the name of OldDroid has done the hard work for you and compiled the official code into a Lollipop ROM you can have right now.

Important information

This ROM needs to be flashed over the top of the existing Android L developer preview, so you can't do it if you're currently running stock Android. You need to flash the ROM via Fastboot and ADB and it doesn't include any Google apps, so you'll have to install the Gapps package, the Play Store and a boot animation yourself (never fear, we have tutorials for those too - just click the links).
If all of this is sounding far too technical, feel free to wait for the Android 5.0 Lollipop factory image for the Nexus 5 instead – this ROM is pure AOSP with no bells, whistles or even the Play Store. Note: the dev that created the ROM is going to provide a Gapps package from the Nexus 9 shortly, so keep an eye on the XDA thread for that update – without it you'll have no Gapps that work on Android 5.0!

Downloads

You'll need to have ADB Tools on your computer before proceeding, so download ADB Tools first. Then, you're going to need the Android 5.0 Lollipop ROM from XDA Developers – just look for the Downloads section and choose one of the links. You need to save the image in the ADB Tools/Platform Tools folder (or wherever the Fastboot executable file is stored). And remember to keep an eye out for the Lollipop Gapps package when the dev uploads it.
IMPORTANT: This process is, as always, potentially risky. Proceed at your own caution, as neither I nor AndroidPIT will be held responsible if anything goes wrong.
